Full Tilt Poker has signed a trio of poker pros to represent the brand over course of the upcoming sixth season of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour.
Jonathan Karamalikis, Liam O’Rourke
and Tom Grigg will all fly the Full Tilt flag at ANZPT while serving as
Red Pros on the online site.
Karamalikis, who plays online as MONSTER_DONG, is probably the most well known of the three.
One of the original Australian online crushers,
Karamalikis has found success marked cards in live tournaments with a win at ACOP
for $478,292 in Taipa and another win at APPT Sydney for $454,304.
Even more recently Karamalikis nearly became the first Australian to win a bracelet Down Under, eventually coming in second place in the first event of WSOP APAC.
Meanwhile Grigg is one of the best up-and-coming online players in
Australia. Known by the handle tollgate, Grigg has racked up over $2
million playing online.
Finally O’Rourke will be repping New Zealand on the ANZPT. He’s been
playing in casinos since he was 18 years old but broke through in 2012
with a second-place finish at ANZPT Sydney for $152,426.
The announcement comes a little more than a week after Full Tilt added a number of U.K. players for UKIPT Galway.
All three players will travel to Auckland, Perth and Sydney during
ANZPT’s sixth season with more venues set to be announced in the near
future.
