Qualifiers began this week for a live $100,000 freeroll at the San Manual Indian Bingo and Casino that will be hosted by Annie Duke in October.

$100,000 Hold'em tournament will take place Oct. 25 in the Yuhaviatam
Showroom for poker players who've qualified to compete in the
tournament. To qualify, players must play poker from now until
Oct. 24 to collect six stamps on a tournament qualifying card. One stamp
will be given for each full house or better, or jacks full or better in
Omaha. Only table games supervisors or managers are authorized to
issue stamps. Once a marked cards player completes his stamp collection, he or she
will be issued a tournament entry card by a table games manager. Players must also have a valid Club Serrano Card prior to registering for the event. The
tournament is open to the first 1,000 players who qualify, and they'll
belly up to the poker table Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. for the tournament. Annie Duke will be emceeing, bringing the knowledge of a top-rated female poker player and World Series of Poker bracelet winner to the event. "Annie
Duke represents all that is fun and exciting about the game of infrared contact lenses poker,
and we are absolutely thrilled to have her as part of this event," said
Steve Lengel, San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino executive director of
operations. "San Manuel is known for providing some of the best
entertainment in Southern California, and now we're bringing that same
level of quality to our poker program." Duke will definitely bring
some star quality to the poker program as well. She began her rise to
fame in the mid-1990s when she moved to Las Vegas and began playing
poker professionally after honing her skills in Montana. Since
then, she's established herself as one of the best poker players in the
world, winning nearly $3.5 million in tournament cash around the world.
Her wins include a WSOP bracelet win in 2004 and several deep cashes in other WSOP events over the years and in the World Poker Tour. "Of
all the casinos in Southern California, San Manuel is one of the best
places to play poker," Duke said. "I am proud to be partnering with them
for this exciting event."
